WELCOME TO AMITY TOASTMASTERS
The Club was formed in February 2006,
sponsored by Foothills Club and Victoria
Quay Club and enthusiastically co-ordinated
by Betty Hart, her positive approach and
encouragement to new members has
resulted in the Club being chartered at
the end of August 2006.
After considering several suggestions the
mutual decision of club members was to
name the Albany Club
AMITY TOASTMASTERS
A full size replica of the Brig Amity which
brought the first white settlers to Albany is a
tourist attraction of the city and an integral
part of our history. Also The Oxford
Dictionary definition of Amity is
friendly relations which aptly describes our
vibrant, forward thinking club.
